Be prepared for the revamp twink belts will go through for ulduar!

Sick of the bevy of twink restrictions that have fallen across Azeroth with the coming of ulduar? Fear not, Blizzard has been infusing low level crafted gear with stealth buffs even as they wave their sweeping nerfbats across the brackets. And today, you’ll get an exclusive first hand look at the level 30 “eternal belt buckles”.

Previously it gave
+8 Stamina
+6 Spirit
Use: Heal yourself for 225 to 375. (1 Hour Cooldown)

From today onwards it will be

[Gem-studded Leather Belt]

65 Armor
+8 Stamina
Use: Heal yourself for 450 to 550. (5 Min Cooldown)

In essence, you get a belt where just about any class but the clothies can wear, that gives you an instant potion (about that of a greater healing potion) on the go without sharing a global cooldown!

Its simply wonderful for both pvp where it acts as an extra health pool, and also pve in that you get a free potion every 5 minutes while levelling (all the better for classes that cannot heal themselves, like rogues)

What makes this item even more exclusive is that the recipe is a limited vendor supply recipe! You might be able to find it on the auction house, but if not, you can look for Rikqiz in Stranglethorn Vale (Booty Bay). Once you have it, you’re ready to roll.

Crafting it takes
4 cured heavy hide
1 iridescent pearl
1 jade
1 citrine
1 fine thread.

Basically it’ll take you a few minutes to round those up on the auction house, preferably below 10-12 gold. Start crafting and get ready to sell it back to twinks and people levelling alts! Pre-patch it would sell for about 33 gold on my server, I would say now with this huge buff you should be fine with charging 50-60 gold for it. Give it a spin and see how it goes!

ps. before anyone asks, it only requires 185 leatherworking skill, so I think you can be making money from this even if you’re a lvl 20 leatherworker.
