Leatherworking: Dark Nerubian Leggings, Dark Icebourne Leggings, Dark Frostscale Leggings

Dark Nerubian Leggings

This is a simple crafting into disenchant method which converts cheap leather and eternals into [Dream Shard]‘s. The three items that work the best are:

All of these BOE blue items will disenchant into a [Dream Shard] and use 4 [Heavy Borean Leather] each as well as either 5 [Crystallized Water] or 5 [Crystallized Shadow]. As you can already tell, these materials are fairly low cost on most economies. Assuming that regular [Borean Leather] is 50 silver each and half an eternal is 1.5g, these items will cost 13.5g to craft. Our numbers are actually rounded up a bit as well, but if you can find leather for even cheaper as well as the eternals, this becomes even more profitable. Maybe around 10g to craft, while the shard sells for about 20g, doubling your investment. So using our numbers, if we craft 100 items, it will cost 1350g. If shards are about 20g each, then we could make 2000g after selling, which results in a 650g profit. So the great thing about this method is that enchanting materials have no deposit amount and usually sell very fast.

On some servers, that might work, but don’t forget about the JC recipes- Jade Dagger Pendant takes 1 Eternal Earth, 2 Dark Jade, and 2 Huge Citrine. I can get Eternal Earth for 6g, Dark Jade is pretty useless so it comes cheap (1g or less), and Huge Citrine can be gotten for about 1.5g each.

So you get a total cost of 11g. On my server, the raw mats for the leggings above would be about 13g.

    Good tip, thanks!

Tried this on a server I no longer play (where I have a LW and Enchanter)
For fun I overpriced the shards at ~27g, and they’re selling. (slowly, but like you said, no deposit.)

i made 400 dream shards with this method (at 11-12g for crafting materials per shard), currently the price per shard is ~23g on my server, i hope prices for enchanting materials will slightly increase after 3.2 due to lots of people getting new items.

For the blacksmiths out there, we also have a “dream shard producer” and its called “Deadly Saronite Dirk”.

Requires 7 Saronite bars and 2 Crystallized Air, if the bars are 1.5g each and the airs are 0.5g each thats 11.5 each.

On an avarage day i can make 20-30 shards at those prices.

allakhazam shows saronite bars as 2.25 each, though. So maybe im just on a “lucky” realm.

    Check it out! :)
