Cataclysm: Full List of New Bind on Account Items and Heirloom Gear

As you may know, in Cataclysm there will be a few new BOA items introduced. Some are from leveling your guild and others are epics gained from Archaeology. There are a lot of Heirloom items for leveling your alts as well. They include Cloaks, Helms, Legs, and Rings. The cost is 1500g each, however we are unsure if there is a discount if you are Exhalted with your guild rep, see this article on Guild Leveling and Rewards for more info. In Cataclysm, there will almost be an Heirloom piece for each slot which is a 55% increase in experience gained from killing monsters and completing quests. Add the guild level 5 perk, Fast Track (Rank 2), you are looking at a significant boost to leveling speeds. This will be great for those of you who want to level up toons for profession reasons. There are rumors that you have to be level 84 in order to level Tailoring, Blacksmithing, and Leatherworking to the max cap of 525, so any boots to XP and leveling is welcomed. If you have kept up with your Cataclysm econ news, you will realize there are a lot of things to spend your gold on in the expansion. This is great if you are sitting on a pile of gold. If you don’t have much, you have an opportunity to make some at the beginning of the Cataclysm expansion. Things are going to sell for a ton, especially for gatherers. If you can wait a bit on to leveling professions and not pay inflated prices on everything, you can make a nice profit early on. After that, use your profits to buy whatever you need to at a lower cost, which hopefully, you will still have some of the profits left. We will be working on a article about how much gold things costs in Cataclysm similar to what we did for the release of Wrath of the Lich King expansion.
