Cataclysm Prospecting Pyrite Ore
So we finally were able to find [Pyrite Ore] at a good price to do a prospecting test with, although prices of gems have fallen a bit as well. We picked up 22 stacks at ~4300g a stack or 195g a stack.

Notes
- 1.4 gems produced per prospect
- A guaranteed green gem and one earth, usually 1-3 earth per prospect
- Can produce 2x greens 2x blues and 3x earth in one prospect
- 192 volatile earth(depending on prices, these may cover the entire cost of the ore)
- Doing some quick estimation, this prospect net a 6400g profit or 48.8%
- If plan on prospecting on a large scale, enable auto-loot and you time it right, you can start the next cast while looting the previous prospect.
