Cash in on WoW Item Level 378 BoE Valor Point Bracers!

With the recent addition of patch 4.2 tons of new Item Level 378 gear has entered the game. We compiled a list of all of the BoE gear that can be gathered from the Firelands trash drops. While some of the gear that comes out of Firelands is fantastic, it’s not quite obtainable to all players at this point in the game. What is obtainable are the 9 different BoE Bracers that are offered by Valor Point vendors in both Stormwind and Orgimmar. The Bracers can be bought for 1250 Valor points. Here is a list of all of the obtainable bracers:

WoW ilvl 378 Valor Bracers

Bracers of Forked Lightning
Bracers of Imperious Truths
Bracers of Misting Ash
Bracers of Regal Force
Emberflame Bracers
Firesoul Wristguards
Flamebinder Bracers
Gigantiform Bracers
Smolderskull Bindings

These offer a great opportunity for gold makers and players a like. A player can now put their Valor points toward other gear and pick up these bracers with a small investment of gold. A savvy gold maker can use their valor points to buy these bracers and sell them for an added revenue stream, or they can do some crafty flipping and try and take full advantage of the Item Level 378 BoE Market. What do you guys think about investing in the 378 BoE Market? Do you think they will be as profitable as 359 BoE boots were? I personally think so. The reasoning behind that is the dramatic jump in item level it provides for a player. I think most players would be willing to spend 10-15k gold (the average price for these on my server) to have a boost in item level average. Most pug raids are requiring a higher item level. Purchasing these bracers will give players a quick advantage in upping that item level without having to buy multiple pieces of a gear. If a player is currently wearing 346 Bracers and purchases these, they will see an optimized jump in item level average with a relatively minimal overall investment. Gold makers who seek out this opportunity have a chance to score big in the profit department.

A Word Of Caution

If you’re thinking of flipping these, I recommend really researching your market. While there is very little risk involved when you’re spending your own Valor points, your risk greatly rises when you purchase from a player and attempt to flip the item on the open market. You have to be cognoscente of which of the 9 different bracer choices are most likely to sell and which will go for the highest gold amount. If you go in to this blindly, you risk riding a down line and winding up in the negative. So be careful. With new items coming into the game, you really need to know your server to not fall flat on your face while flipping. So the short version is; if you’re using your own Valor points your safe. If you’re planning on flipping them from another player be careful. This is very much a High Risk, High Reward market.

I say if you are valor capped and looking for a dump, then go ahead and snag up the Tanking bracers. Tanking gear tends to move rather quickly as the margin for error when gearing up for a tank is much lower when compared to dps or healers.

How is the time investment in for these?

If you’re running raids, I’m sure you want VP to buy better gear. By the time you’ve bought your last required piece, the price will be lower.

If you’re running heroics, that’s a lot of instances to do. and time=money.

You pretty much have to make a choice. Either use the item as an upgrade or sell them while the price is at their peak. Usually most players won't need to upgrade unless they are in a more hardcore progression guild where every little bit helps. I see more "casual" players cashing in on these and then rebuying them for themsleves, either with gold or VP, a few weeks later.
