New Warcraft Econ Writer: Stokpile

Aloha all, Stokpile here! Contrary to popular belief I have not left the proverbial blogosphere and will be coming to you several times a week right here with new ideas on how to make lots of gold in WoW. Lately I have been writing about Rift on my blog, but I never stop writing about the auction house and making money in an MMO with very little effort.

For those that don’t know, I finished my gold making career with over 2.5 million gold and have been in the hall of fame on this site four times. Once for the original 214k gold cap, once for one million pre-Cataclysm, one million post-Cataclysm, and another time for a double gold cap of two million and I even helped write the extra questions for those with a double gold cap. I have been writing about making gold on the AH for quite some time now on my wow gold blog (www.theahpile.blogspot.com) all focused on the auction house and different ways to make money on an MMO. I have since expanded my horizons and am also writing about making money in Rift as well as WoW and plan to eventually do the same for several other MMO’s out there as well.

I look forward to being able to reach more people to share all of my thoughts with on MMO economic theory as there is quite a lot to be said! Everything from how to effectively price your goods to how to deal with competition and of course my token thoughts on any new updates with the game.

They Stokpile because that is my primary M.O. on the auction house and it is what I always yell at my readers to do. Any time there is a good deal on materials buy up every bit you can. It lets you survive a drought in supply and outlast any competition you have during a pricing war.
