What is the first thing you’ll do in game the day 3.1 comes out?

-Do the Fishing Daily! Then purchase Dual-Spec, Glyphs, and prepare for our first Ulduar25 raid. Possibly check market for new or overpriced items. List a few leg armor kits, gems, enchanting materials, and raid food if the price is high enough.

How prepared are you for 3.1?

-I would consider myself fairly prepared for it. Have been up to date on patch notes, new changes, and market/item speculations.

What is you most profitable markets/items you are selling right now?

-Wisp/Deathchill Cloaks wins in the profit per item, but the epic Leg Armor Kits are more profitable due to the volume I sell.

What do you think will be the most profitable markets/items in 3.1?

-Most profitable within the first month would probably be Runed Orbs and the new ilevel 226 BOE epics. These will be very high in price. Nobles deck may retain its’ value as well. Raiding related markets should have a surge in demand also. I predict that Eternal Fire will still be the highest priced eternal out of all of them, but Eternal Shadow may be making a slight comeback. Arctic Fur, Frozen Orb, Titansteel, and the 3 types of Spellcloth look like they will rise in price due to the new Ulduar patterns and leg armor kits.

What is your inventory and bankroll worth pre-patch 3.1?

-An estimated 70,000g, half of it is sitting in 4 guild bank tabs on my level 1 bank alt. Almost sad that I only have about 6000 in just gold. A lot of it is raw materials that need to be turned into crafted items. This number may actually be closer to 100,000g after the patch.

    1. The Fishing Daily, then look for an Ulduar pug.
    2. Not as prepared as I wanted to be, since I switched servers to play with RL friends and have been helping them with Naxx10 (our guild is small). I do have a few stacks of Arctic Fur and some Titansteel bars, but that’s about it.
3.Titanium Impact Bands and Runed Scarlet Rubies. Dream Signets are a close third.
    4.Runed Orbs, no doubt.
5.Depends if you want to include vanity items/mounts in that count, which includes assorted mounts including the Traveling Tundra Mammoth & a Kirin Tor ring. With them, around 50,000g. Current gold + items to sell, only about 10,000g.

Oops! Forgot to add, I have all Naxx25 epics from before my server switch, so I’m prepared for Ulduar.

    Gold pre 3.1 patch: 132k
after 3.1 if prices goes high maybe around 25k-40k

1 guild bank tab full of enchanting mats
60 gems of each color stocked (300)
500~ glyphs and around 200 ink saved
12 stacks of eternal shadow (240 eternal shadow bought em dirt cheap)

on side note, which addon is calculates your character wealth?

@ CG – The addon is called BigPicture, link in the post. Also what is your reason for stocking up on shadow, since I did the same thing with every other eternal due their low prices.

He probably stacked shadow because it’s a mat for some Ulduar recipes, so it should have an increase in price.

I bought them off a chinese farmer for 2g / each. Thier real value in my server is 5-6g. I am keeping them until the price increase, Hoping that blizzard will add new recipe for them.

    Worst cause:
    Level my LW/BS alt
    Transmute them
    Craft / De

    :)

Thats what I figured, I bought them for about 3g each. Ulduar patterns, Ebonweave, Titansteel, Shadowmight Ring, and Rituals of the New Moon offhand all use it. This might be an underrated eternal as well as being low risk.

Hi, looking forward to getting on checking out trade channel and the ah.

Been preparing for Ulduar for 4 or five weeks now, 3 bank alts with either food buffs, leg armour, spell thread. Mats for these goods too.

Ah farming and manipulation is risky but i find most profitable.

What i can’t believe is how people are missing the boat on the Undeath deck. That will be the most profitable and easily accessed item for the first 3 weeks surely. Being buffed to the nines and people will need to be all they can be for Ulduar.

Happy hunting and hope all your plans come to fruition.

    1. First thing I will be doing is the first round of my huge stock pile of gems listed for those who are attempt uludar this evening. That is, if servers ever come back up. After that, it’s all fishing I want to mount.

How prepared are you for 3.1?
About 70% of where I would like to have been on the preparedness scale, I got lazy and cashed out my liquidity buying a few mounts, but thats what it’s all about spending money when you want to. Wish I could have stocked up a few more Arctic Fur.

What is you most profitable markets/items you are selling right now?
For me, it’s the gem or enchanting mat markets. I think these will do really well and I’m hoping my stock pile and continuing to stock more during the first couple weeks of the patch will keep things on the rise.

I have been off on holidays for nearly 3 months and have not touched wow but I’m back (temporarily since if I get bored I will go away again) to see what Uldar is like.

1.What is the first thing you’ll do in game the day 3.1 comes out? Go fishing for the turtle mount.
2.How prepared are you for 3.1? Not prepared at all but given that everyone has been stock piling, I highly doubt that you will see price spikes in anything (there is one market which may be good but it’s a secret :) ). Furthermore given the difficulty of Uldar, it is less likely that people will be getting new gear as fast as naxx. Remember when it took months on end to clear SSC/TK and you will be lucky to get an upgrade?
    3. NA to me.
    4. Its a secret. But it depends on luck as you don’t know what you will get.
    5. I still have 120k, with another 10k or so worth of gems, enchanting mats, herbs and ink lying around.

Well, I was taken completely unawares, so I am nowhere near being prepared. I had hoped to get my latest alt to 70 so I can max out my JC and Enchanting, but he is still only 68 :(
But I think the very first thing I shall do is get Dual Spec set up on my main and test it out.

    (1) Spend all refunded talent points on my main, get addons working, then go to the AH and check on prices

    (2) I’m extremely well-prepared for 3.1; I was expecting next Tuesday, but I’m ready to go now

    (3) I expect glyphs will be the fastest-moving and most-profitable items today; a lot of ppl are dumping, so I’ll wait on item-enhancement items like enchanting mats, gems, leg kits, buckles and see what happens.

    (4) My current inventory is 377k (using BP addon just like you guys do apparently). I have only 161k in cash, but I’ve been liquidating 35k per week for the last 2 weeks and I expect 50k to go this week. Although Ulduar 5 nights/week now will cut into AH time, so we’ll see.

Totally didnt sell any gems/enchanting mats tonight.
However around 6k in mail from glpyhs.

Northrend + ulduar was down in my server.
What about you guys? gems and enchanting mats spiked?

Glyphs were my big seller last night, 1500g. Mostly from my lvl 58 inscriptionist, so not bad at all for not having ANY northrend Glyphs.

I think you’ll see enchanting mats start moving up once people start upgrading gear from Uldar raids. Not too many new people pulling new gear needing enchants yet.

Oh ya, glyph markets did amazing last night. My GM pulled 10,000g+ out of his mail at the end of the night. Probably not all profit since it doesn’t take into account material prices. For now, try and get the world drop glyph recipes, most likely located in heroics and maybe raids.

My assessment proved to be correct somewhat (it may pick up on the weekend but highly unlikely). There were no movement except downwards in most of my markets. The gems, glyph and enchanting market was flooded. People were undercutting like crazy (herbs prices were up a bit). Having said this, if things become really cheap, I will start buying!

LMAO there were about 15 undeath decks on my server’s AH last night.

    Edit*
Why would I buy? If I was back before this patch I would have sold most of my mats for a premium to all those hoarders (thinking about get rich quick scheme) and buy it back from them at a discount. Be Fearful When Others Are Greedy and Greedy When Others Are Fearful. Applies to WOW too – Warren Buffet.

I’m certainly not one who posts gouging prices and I did pretty well with glyphs. Made 2500g in sales within the first four hours of the server being stable on Tues (prior to the AH crash). AH was down all day Weds. Through today my total is 6500g in sales with probably only about 1000-1500g of that as materials cost.

I’m also still trying to decide whether or not to level JC in place of engineering. Got my engin pets from Gnomeregan.
