Four new Kirin Tor rings appeared on the jewelery vendor in Dalaran. These are like the Inscribed rings, now with the prefix “Eteched”, introduced in 3.1 so they will be an upgrade to the previous versions. They are ilevel 226, which depending on your raiding status, you may be lucky to even have two 226 rings currently. These rings are a nice instant upgrade the second 3.2 launches for those who don’t have two 226 rings already. On the PTR they cost 1000g at Exalted reputation with Kirin Tor, just like the previous upgrades, however for testing purposes they don’t require you to turn in your old ring. This will most likely change once live where it will cost 1000g and your Inscribed ring of the same type for the upgrade.
(Prices are at Exalted Kirin Tor rep)

Holy **** that’s great news! As a solo player who doesn’t raid, with plenty of gold to spend, these rings are an excellent way to get very good stats. My hunter currently uses both an Inscribed Band and a Band! Gotta upgrade these in 3.2!
P.S. My only beef with these rings is that there’s no tanking ring, preferably with block rating on it.
Why is that mentioned here? Surely that isn’t a way to make money, but to lose money
