Healing/Mana Injectors

Runic Mana Injector

It is amazing how some gold making methods are so simple that players overlook them. One of the most basic tactics is to convert one item into another for profit. An example would be combining leather to create the “heavy” version for a quick and easy profit. However methods like that usually requires a profession. So finding  an item that can be converted into another item for profit without the use of a profession is nice for even casual auction house players. The healing/mana potion conversion into injectors would fit into the same category as converting [Eternal Fire] into [Crystallized Fire] for profit. Make sure to check your economy’s prices of the potions, injector kits, and the final injectors. For most players, buying out 20 potions and the injector kits, then crafting the final potion injector will result in a quick and easy profit. Here are the items that you should be searching for:

What I want to know is how these injectors will fair in 3.2 when potions stack to 20, will injectors allow 100 potions or something? Otherwise they become a waste of space.

Potions will stack to 20 and the injectors also convert them to 20. So the only benefit is for an Engineer to use the injectors because in 3.2, they will give a bonus to the amount of health or mana they recieve from them.

On my server no one ever sells/buys the injectors.
I once tried to sell two [Runic Healing Injector] in the AH and the best price i got was 20g.

Just for clarity, did you mean that the Runic Mana Potion and Runic Health Potion were 25g and 12g per stack, since they only stack to 5? Otherwise, the math is a bit odd in my (admittedly pedantic) brain.

Doh, that should be 15g instead of 12g for the Health.

@ Duclama – Oh I meant for 20 of them, thinking that on the PTR they stack to 20.

I’ve yet to understand why after finally allowing non-engineers use the injectors that they would more or less revert the change. I mean, yeah people can still use them, but why not just keep your stack of 20 pots?

Seriously, the increased effect given to engineers isn’t even noticeable given that this is an item useable once per fight… if used at all…

That said, time to get in on this profit train while it’s still possible.

Another weird thing I noticed is that there are NO injectors (loaded ones) on my server for sale, nor have there ever been many. I now remember this is why I hadn’t taken up the trade sooner. Not to mention that I’m an engineer and I made a ton of these leveling up anyway.
