The Aion open beta client download and dates are up on the official site now. Hope to see some of you in the beta!

Upcoming Aion Dates:

Aion Open Beta: September 6th – 13th

Aion Pre-Select: September 18th

Aion Headstart: September 20th

Aion Official North American Release: September 22nd

Aion Official European Release: September 25th

All’s fine and dandy, but how does one get the open beta key? :/ Do you have to be a fileplanet subscriber for that?

Being a subscriber to FilePlanet is one way of obtaining a beta key. The only other ways I know of is to either Pre-Order the game or find a major gaming site giving out beta keys for free. A misconception is that you need a FilePlanet subscription to download the client, you only need to create a free account with them.
