MMO-Champion AH Guide

A very interesting post on MMO-Champion.com, a WoW news and blue post site, has appeared. It is a nice simple guide on some ways you can make gold in the current WoW economy. It also covers topics like crafting/disenchanting and someAuctioneer basics. Although long time readers of Warcraft Econ won’t find anything new here, it is still an informative article.

They have also included a spreadsheet for Enchanters to check if certain enchants are profitable by calculating reagent costs for each one.

    While amusing, I think my interview sums it up as to how this will affect servers in the long term. I’ve been selling raw mats on my server to cash in on this craze a little bit. And like you said there Warcraftecon, nothing new in his guide from the stuff we’ve known here all along. Making money bores most people (don’t ask why), and this isn’t push a button and get rich. It still requires you to level the character, retain the seed money, and level the profession. What? ZOMG Spend gold to make gold!? What is this? Real life?

    Glad my super duper special method of cashing in on gems isn’t published there as of yet. PHEW!

    Eventually all methods for making gold will get published 0.0

    I just purchased a magic rooster egg for 51k this week and was wondering whether it was a good deal. Any ideas on how much this mount is worth?

    I would say absolutely you got a good deal. I’d easily blow more if one was ever posted on my server.
