Social Network and Forums Quick Fix

If either sites are not working, try these steps below while the DNS updates. Most problems are on the client/user side.

  1. Include WWW in the URL
  2. Shift+Click the Refresh button if sites are not loading properly
  3. Flush you DNS cache by using Command/CMD (not sure in Mac’s)
    1. Windows: Open up cmd.exe
    2. Type: ipconfig /flushdns
  4. If forums link isn’t working, try loading it in a new window.

    Hmm, I’ve had to flush my dns twice now, and both times the site crapped out on me while I was either posting something or editing my profile. I’ve never seen a site act this way before.

    I hope you fix this problem quickly or you will risk losing potential users. No offense, but the site isn’t awesome enough for me to want to keep flushing my dns all the time and constantly save my work so it doesn’t get erased.

    Thank you for your feedback. We are still not sure what is wrong with yet, but will most likely use the defualt URL/IP that the social site is stored on. It is being redirected to our .com but it is having trouble. After a few days if problems persist, we will disable the redirect and hopfully that will fix it.
