What Others Are Saying About Us
Translation: We could say that what is Tankspot for PvE players, Warcraft Econ is for players who amass fortunes in the AH. Many analysts, many reports and note changes in the next patch is dedicated solely to the economic approach. Stresses its Hall of Fame where players only come with 2 million, 1 million 500 thousand and 250 thousand gold to its select list.

I do want to say though that reading people’s interviews on Warcraft Econ is incredibly insightful because it’s devoid of a lot of the filler you find elsewhere.

Read blogs like Warcraft Econ and my own, Just My Two Copper, for gold tips. I’d like to thank Warcraft Econ for taking the time to publish this interview and for maintaining this fantastic site. I especially love to recommend the gold capped tips to players looking to improve their gold making strategies.

I also want to give a big thank you to Warcraft Econ. With the addition of new contributors, it is very quickly becoming the de facto leader of the gold making community. I check here instead of MMO-Champion for relevant patch notes and commentary now.

At the beginning I was reading all those sites, but after I made like 200k gold, those sites got pretty useless. An exception to this are the stormspire forums and the undermine and wowuction sites. Warcraftecon.net is also good, as they have interviews with many gold capped players… and what a surprise, non of those got rich by applying the gold making tips from those sites.
With most of the gold making tips on those sites you won’t make the million. If you’re happy to make 10k – 20k gold because you’ve read something on those sites, then they are for you.

Funny Mentions
We had one of our listeners, got his interview published on WoW Econ this week, and you know how he didn’t do it? He didn’t do it by begging in trade chat, he actually did it by honing his professions and doing sh** right.

Those interviews are fascinating. It will have someone who’s like hey how did you make a million gold? And the person goes through, how they made a million gold. If you want to find out how to be skinny, ask a skinny person! They have a pretty good idea… So same thing, Warcraft Econ just finds out what people who have made gold. The interviews there are really good.
